CynergisTek invites you to attend our free webinar, “How to Prepare for a Meaningful Use Audit” on November 4th at 12 pm CST. This webinar will be presented by David Holtzman who will draw on his previous experience working with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) while he was an advisor for the Office for Civil Rights (OCR). In this presentation, David will review the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Meaningful Use audits that are conducted by Figliozzi and Company. First, he will review Meaningful Use program requirements and the audit program, including process and procedures. Next, he will explain which data and documentation is necessary and requested during an audit, based on firsthand experience with CynergisTek clients that have gone through a random audit. This program will also provide guidance for provider organizations on how to prepare for an audit, as well as practical tips and best practices to ensure audit readiness.

Attendees will find significant value and relevance in the scope and timeliness of this presentation. It is anticipated that CMS will continue to randomly audit organizations that attested to Meaningful Use Stage 1 and will proactively be performing pre-payment audits on future attestations. This presentation will give the audience valuable insight into what to expect from a Meaningful Use audit and how to prepare based on David’s firsthand experience.
