Cybersecurity or insecurity? We have all come to love and trust our devices and networks. However, as we’ve seen from recent breaches caused by hacking, there are many challenges to combatting cybersecurity attacks.
Because of this, we are presenting a free webinar, “Getting Into the Mind of a Hacker,” on Tuesday, August 9th. In this presentation, CynergisTek’s Senior Penetration Tester John Nye will focus on some of the biggest threats to the healthcare IT industry and will review a case study in which poor wireless hygiene was the cause of a potentially devastating wireless attack.
This presentation will also highlight the latest tools and techniques that are being used by hackers to gain access to wireless data. Finally, he will cover how to keep these devices safe and which steps can be taken to improve security and decrease the risks.
During this session, we will:
- Identify some of the biggest hacking risks that threaten healthcare data through examples and a case study
- Demonstrate some of the tools and techniques hackers use to gain access to your data and network
- Develop best practices to reduce the risk associated with cyber threats
