Healthcare IT Security Expert to Spearhead New Managed Services Division, Drive Superior Client Satisfaction and Organizational Process Improvement

CynergisTek today announced that Erin Fulton has joined the executive team as vice president of operations. In this role, Fulton will direct CynergisTek’s new Managed Services business division, leading daily operations and advancing innovation around new offerings. Fulton is also responsible for ensuring CynergisTek’s standard of exemplary client satisfaction in service delivery is upheld and bolstered amidst rapid company growth, as well as driving ongoing process improvement across the organization.

Fulton brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare information technology to her role at CynergisTek, previously serving in various leadership positions at T-System, Beryl Health, Dell Healthcare and Parkland Health and Hospital System. Prior to joining CynergisTek, Fulton served as vice president and general manager of paper and performance solutions at T-System, where she managed the paper clinical documentation business line and brought several products to market.

“We are delighted to welcome Erin to the team at CynergisTek. Her proactive approach to premier client services and satisfaction will allow our existing personnel to maintain focus on tactical issues without compromising time to maintain critical touch points with our clients’ executive sponsors,” said Dr. Michael G. Mathews, president and COO. “Her experience building organizational units from the ground up is essential to launching our new suite of Managed Services.”

The addition of Fulton will enable CynergisTek to strategically grow its Managed Services offerings to address the needs of its provider clients. As regulatory scrutiny in the healthcare industry continues to expand, providers are increasingly seeking expert support to alleviate internal resources and ensure compliance. Leveraging Fulton’s leadership, CynergisTek will provide first-rate and ongoing services to optimize provider organization’s security and privacy programs as the regulatory landscape continues to evolve.

“CynergisTek has a strong reputation for effectively addressing the growing privacy and security needs of its clients, so I’m thrilled to have joined an organization that’s so well-respected in the industry,” said Fulton. “I’m looking forward to growing the company’s Managed Services offerings and enabling its provider customers to focus on more pressing and strategic initiatives like Meaningful Use and the transition to ICD-10.”
