Annual Technical Testing Program (ATTP) Services

The Annual Technical Testing Program (ATTP) is a technical analog to our Compliance Assist Partner Program (CAPP) and builds on our stand-alone Vulnerability Assessment, our “technical annual assessment,” by adding ongoing technical testing throughout the year.

After data collection, we compile a summary report of findings that details findings, observations, recommendations and detailed remediation steps in addition to trending data for our repeat customers to help provide input on overall technical program maturity.

Optional services can be added as desired to round out any areas that are not included as a base part of the ATTP.

The ATTP includes the following components:

  • Vulnerability Assessment
  • Enterprise Architecture Assessment
  • Wireless Security Assessment

CynergisTek conducts vulnerability assessments for our clients as part of every assessment we do. This information is very valuable for clients who do not have an established program, or for clients that are looking to validate what they have in place. As part of the annual program, we conduct vulnerability assessments at your preferred frequency (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, etc.) and then work with your team to develop a remediation strategy. You can pay anyone to do a scan of your network, but CynergisTek is your trusted advisor to help you with your overall cyber security strategy and health information management goals.

As part of a good security testing program, we always recommend that our clients look at the root causes that may be causing the issues they find in their environment. Our Enterprise Architecture Assessment, or EAA, will document that and as part of our evaluation, we will look at your security architecture, ask for network diagrams, and sample configuration files. Our expert team will also interview your staff or managed IT service provider, and document our findings and recommendations.

If your organization has a large wireless footprint, or is continuing to acquire new locations, then making sure you have a handle on your wireless network is crucial. Over the years, we have found many physicians, executives, or departments that view themselves as “special”, set up their own rogue access points and put your environment at risk. Our wireless security assessment will help document and validate your strategy around your wireless network and provide safe harbor documentation.
