Overview

The Information Blocking Rule requires certain organizations to share specific health information seamlessly. It is important for healthcare providers to understand how these rules may impact them and what is necessary to comply with the Rule.

The Information Blocking Assessment is designed to evaluate whether your organization appropriately considered the applicability of the regulation, identified where the data elements included in the USCDI are located, reviewed information access policies and procedures, reviewed contracts with vendors, and appropriately apply exceptions.
