Shane Whitlatch is the Senior Vice President of Sales at CynergisTek and is responsible for building and leading business development and sales strategy. In his role, Shane leads all efforts around client retention, new client acquisition, and positioning CynergisTek as a market leader serving the needs of healthcare and other security-aware industries. Shane joins Cynergistek with over 20 years of experience building and leading world-class sales organizations in healthcare IT, Security, Privacy, and Compliance.

Shane joined Cynergistek after a nearly 13 year career/tenure at FairWarning as the 9th employee and a shareholder, creating and leading the sales, customer success, partnership and integration programs and teams, and finally as the GM of the entire healthcare business following the sale of the Company. Shane created and led the initial FairWarning Advisory Board working closely with executives from key healthcare organizations. FairWarning went from 20 hospitals to over 8,500 in 6 countries during his tenure as well as over 100 financial services and emerging market customers outside of healthcare.

Prior to FairWarning, Shane was the 8th employee at OpenNetwork, an identity management and access control company. Shane built the sales and business development organization and led the growth that resulted in the sales of the company to BMC Software. Coming out of graduate school, Shane had field and regional leadership positions with Pyxis, the company that built and dominated the medication and supply dispensing systems in health systems Worldwide. Shane splits his time between St. Petersburg, FL and Hiawassee, GA, and holds a MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of South Florida.
